OSIG Scholarships

At OSIG, we believe that strong schools build strong communities. That’s why we’re proud to support the educational pursuits of Oklahoma students through our annual scholarship program. Each year, we award a total of $50,000 in scholarships to help deserving students achieve their academic goals and prepare for bright futures.
Qualifications
  • Students must be currently enrolled in an OSIG member school in good standing as of January 1.
  • The scholarship will be awarded annually to four graduating high school seniors from each quadrant (as classified by OSIG) in the state of Oklahoma.
  • High School addresses will be used in determining which quadrant the applicant is located in.

David Martin Memorial Scholarship

The David Martin Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the memory of David Martin, our OSIG Executive Director, who was deeply committed to integrity, leadership, and always doing what was right. While David is no longer with us, his values continue to inspire all who knew him and those who benefit from this scholarship.

David often said, “Right isn’t always easy, but it IS always right,” a reflection of his belief that the right path is not always the easiest, but it is always the one worth taking. He also believed, “There are no degrees of honesty. You are honest or you are not.” This principle guided him in both his professional and personal life, and he encouraged others to hold themselves to the same high standards.

This scholarship honors David’s legacy by supporting students who exemplify the qualities he valued: integrity, perseverance, and a commitment to making ethical decisions. Through this award, David’s impact continues to inspire and empower future leaders.

Application Process

Scholarship Application

Complete an application by filling out the form, and submitting the following items using the upload button to submit your application to OSIG.

  • Include copies of seven semester (grades 9-12) transcripts.
  • Three completed letters of recommendation from responsible adults. One letter written by a school employee on school letterhead.
  • Provide ACT/SAT test scores if they are not included in transcripts.
  • Complete a 750 word essay explaining your academic and/ or professional goals and how you will use this scholarship to help achieve your goals.
  • Provide a copy of acceptance letter(s) to college(s).
  • Both you and a representative of your school signatures.
  • Deadline to submit application online by March 2, 2026.
